Childhood Immunisations and Postnatal Check
Immunisations are done every Thursday AM. The appointment is the baby's 8 week check and mother's postnatal check in one appointment. This is run by a Doctor, currently Dr Hussain or Dr Settle.
This clinic is by appointment only.
Please note: Children between the age of 4 - 10 years old will be given the Flu Vaccination at school.
Note: If you baby has a fever, you should not bring them to the clinic.

Family Planning
FP services include:
- Contraception (including pills)
- DepoProvera injections
- Emergency contraception
- Family planning advice (telephone consultation).
Chronic Heart Disease (CHD) / Healthy Heart
You will have an appointment with a member of the Nurse Team where a blood test will be taken.
Before we can review you, you will need to have had the blood test done. You can do this at the Homerton Hospital (Monday-Friday 08:30-16:00). In order for us to have received the results, please have the test done at least 3 working days before your appointment.
During your second appointment the nurse will review your blood test results.
Diabetic Clinic
An appointment can be made with a member of the the Nurse Team in a General Clinic for STEP 1:
- Urine test
- Blood test
- Blood pressure check
- Foot check
- Weight
STEP 2 appointments are booked with a Nurse or Doctor to discuss the results of STEP 1.
Asthma & COPD
Asthma
The Asthma Clinic aims to monitor and help you manage your Asthma.
For an appointment please book to see Nurse Laura or Shelley.
COVID-19: Asthma clinic consultations may be via video consultation.
COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
First appointment will be with a member of the Nurse Team for a breathing test (spirometry) - currently suspended.
Second appointment will be with a practice nurse to discuss the results.
Sexual Health

Welfare Advice
Mondays 13:30-16:30 only on: 07921 327 476
They can offer advice on benefits, housing, tax credits, employment, consumer matter, debts immigration etc.
Family Action – Hackney WellFamily Service
You can discuss with the advisor any problems you have. Issues such as; difficulties or worries about your children, relationship difficulties, feelings of depression, anxiety, violence at home, family finances, bereavement, welfare services etc.
The clinic usually runs every other Monday from 09:00 – 13:00 by clinician referral only.
Family Action – Social Prescribing
Social prescribing is about giving you access to activities, social groups, services and advice based on your need and interests. The aim is to improve your sense of wellbeing which in turn can often have a positive impact on your health.
Social prescribing clinic is every Tuesday (Amy) 09:30-18:00 and Thursday (Beverly) from 13:00 – 16:00.

Helping you take charge
- Worried about your health and wellbeing? Are you living with

Health Coaches help you to take charge by - Listening to what’s important to you.
- Helping you to build confidence, knowledge and skills
to take care of your health and wellbeing. - Working with you to find reliable information and activities.
- Connecting you with people who have similar experiences.
- Coaches offer support in person, by phone or online
- One-to-one support to get to know what works for you, your hopes and goals and what’s stopping you from taking steps forward, without judgement.
- Support to get active, eat well, protect your emotional wellbeing, find or reconnect with interests and support networks.
- Help to find advice or guidance for practical day-to-day issues.
- Work with your healthcare team, complementing your existing support.
This is a Free Service open to anyone registered with a GP in
City and Hackney over the age of 18. You can refer yourself
or book an appointment at reception.
